Creating Annotated Bibliographies

Many WCU courses include annotated bibliographies as assignments. Annotated bibliographies can be made up of a list of entries or a single entry. An annotated bibliography entry is a citation for a resource accompanied by a paragraph that summarizes, analyzes, and evaluates the resource. For more about annotated bibliographies, check out the documents below:

Citing a Resource for Annotated Bibliographies

Annotated bibliographies include citation of a resource. If you need additional assistance, please visit the Reference Example pages for Reference Citation Examples on the APA 7th Edition Guide.

Dental Hygiene Students

The Dental Hygiene program has special guidelines for their annotated bibliography assignments. Please confirm these guidelines with your faculty and Canvas.
