  • Password: You choose your own password. Click set/reset link to set up your password.

Getting Started

The WCU Library System provides access to many electronic resources, including Library Databases, eBooks and electronic journals. WCU faculty, staff and currently enrolled students can access most of these resources when not on campus, using their Library ID and Password.

All students, faculty, and staff with library accounts created prior to August 2015, can continue to use their barcode number as their Library ID.

If you do not have a Library ID, you may submit the Library Use Application Form available below, to your campus library.

Have a Question?

How to Create Your WCU Library Account

Note: If you currently have a barcode on the back of your student ID, please use that number as your Library ID.  The Library ID format described in the tutorial only applies to new students or those who established a library account after August 2015.

Having Trouble Logging In?

You will need a Library ID and Password in order to login to any library resource off campus. If you have forgotten your password or never created one, you may click on the Set/reset password link, as shown in the previous image. An email will be sent to your WCU e-mail address with instructions on how to create a password.

When you receive the email, there will be a link included that will forward you to the Change Your Password page as shown in the image below. Where it asks for a User name, make sure to enter your Library ID

If you do not receive a message to reset your password within 24 hours, please contact your campus library. This may be a result of having an incorrect or outdated email under your library account.
