Note: If you currently have a barcode on the back of your student ID, please use that number as your Library ID. The Library ID format described in the tutorial only applies to new students or those who established a library account after August 2015.
You will also be asked to login after trying to access an article, journal, or ebook from the Library Catalog.

You will need a Library ID and Password in order to login to any library resource off campus. If you have forgotten your password or never created one, you may click on the Set/Reset Password link, as shown in the previous image. An email will be sent to your WCU e-mail address with instructions on how to create a password.
When you receive the email, there will be a link included that will forward you to the Change Password page as shown in the image below. Where it asks for a Library ID, you will enter he beginning of your WCU e-mail address containing your name (before the @u.westcoastuniversity.edu) and then you will create a password. Changing your password here will not change your Blackboard or Portal password.
If you do not receive a message to reset your password within 24 hours, please contact your campus library. This may be a result of having an incorrect or outdated email under your library account.
